The Atrium
The iconic black and white checkered floors, grand staircase, and grandfather clock are some of the big elements that were inspired from London. With so many of these unique design touches, this part of the Oxford Exchange is guaranteed to wow your guests, as well as, be the perfect layout for saying "I Do" or dancing the night away.
The Conservatory
This beautiful sunlit room is complete with creeping vines, century old brickwork and a retractable glass roof. This is where your guests can gather for cocktail hour or your reception dinner. It is also the perfect backdrop for your ceremony, if you were to choose the Atrium as your ceremony site.
The Smith Room
Every bride needs their own spacious bridal suite and that is exactly what the Smith Room provides for all getting ready priorities. With plenty of natural light and space for you and your bridal party to get dressed, do finishing touches of HMU, and capture those intimate moments before go time, this is a great bonus to such a beautiful venue.

Should we both get ready at The oxford exchange?

Even though the Oxford Exchange doesn't have the traditional getting ready suite, the Smith room is the perfect backdrop to capture the "getting into dress" and all the finishing touches. The Groom will also have a room that matches for any last minute bow tie and cufflink photos. This is especially important if you do not have a hotel near by.
A few of our most frequently asked questions as a wedding photographer at the Oxford Exchange
Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?
Our favorite place for family photos are on the bottom of the grand staircase or the atrium. They are super close to the ceremony locations and have beautiful backdrops and lighting for these once in a lifetime family keepsakes.
What time should we schedule our wedding ceremony to begin?
With the Oxford Exchange being open to the public everyday they do only allow entrance to vendors starting at 5pm. Most ceremonies would be recommended to start somewhere between 6:30 and 7:30.
What type of exit or leave do you recommend?
With a venue that has such a unique aesthetic and style, it is only fair to have an exit equally as unique. The Oxford Exchange offers a balloon drop option that is such a fun experience that you cannot have at any other venue. Whether it is the dance floor or the hallway exit, this is good option for something different.
How long should we plan to take Bride & Groom portraits?
This section of your photography timeline is arguably the most important. That being said, you will most likely need to plan to not attend cocktail hour. We know that's probably no the news you were hoping for, but trust us - it's worth the sacrifice! Plan for at a minimum of 25 - 30 minutes to get those most crucial sweetheart photos of just the two of you during the golden hour before sunset.
What accommodations are nearby at the OXFORD EXCHANGE?
The venue offers a wedding collection that includes a 2-night stay on the property! There are 5 beautiful guest rooms within the estate as well as a guest cottage with 2 bedrooms on-site which is also available (depending on the wedding collection you book). This is a wonderful idea to say on property the night before to wake up refreshed for your wedding day, be in the moment, and ready to tie that knot!
